Women’s Ministry

We look forward to the opportunity to serve the women of our Church with the good news of Jesus, through the fellowship of believing women at Christ Fellowship of Williamsburg!

Our passion is to see the women in our church grow in love for the Lord, in our understanding of the gospel, and in our effectiveness in ministering to our families, friends, church family, and community. We are college students, single women, homeschool moms, school teachers, office managers, retired, homemakers, grandmothers, and everything in between. There is a place for every woman in our Women's Ministry.

Our MISSION:

Our aim as a women's ministry is to help center ourselves on the Bible, and by doing so, teach, disciple, and serve women in the church community. Our desire is for women to grow in their walk with the Lord, experience community as they gather for fellowship and discipleship, and  become a blessing to others as they exercise their spiritual gifts to serve others in the church.

Word-Centered:

Women’s Winter Bible Study: Ruth-Love, Loss & Legacy

Ladies, please join us this winter for a 7 week study of the book of Ruth by Kelly Minter. We will learn more about our God, Who rescues, redeems and restores.  We will begin meeting at the church the week of January 11th. Please purchase your book ahead of time at RUTH . If cost is prohibitive, please reach out to womensministry@cfcw.church.

Our lives are often full of trouble, pain, and uncertainty - and we yearn for peace. The Bible calls us to "trust God" in times of fear and despair, but what does that even mean?

Please join us as we read "Consider the Lilies: Finding Perfect Peace in the Character of God" by Jonny Ardavanis.  We will meet on the 2nd Monday of each month starting on January 12th for 4 months. Please purchase your book ahead of time at CONSIDER THE LILIES. If cost is prohibitive, please reach out to womensministry@cfcw.church

Women's Book Club:

Knowing the Word is as important to us as is learning how to apply the Word to our lives. We want to deepen our wisdom in that area and are offering a new study in January entitled:

UNMET EXPECTATIONS by Lisa Hughes.

It is biblically grounded and will help us explore this topic which often affects our relationships with one another and with the Lord. Please consider joining us beginning on January 14th for this study.  Lynn Quirin and Sue McHenry will be co-leading.  Please purchase your book at Amazon or Christianbook.com ahead of time. If you have any questions regarding the study, or if the cost is prohibitive, please let Lynn know at lg.quirin@comcast.net .
